Riverside Service Projects for families and kids Letters to healthcare workers

The past year has put a strain on our medical workers.  With hospitals full and health care workers working tirelessly to care for all of the patients, we thought this would be a perfect time to send them words of encouragement and love.

For our February service project, we will be sending cards to the two hospitals in our area: Parkview Community Hospital and Riverside Community Hospital.  If you would like to be a part of our service project, write letters or send cards for our nurses, doctors, and healthcare staff.

When: Month of February 2021

What: Send cards to healthcare workers at Parkview Community Hospital and Riverside Community Hospital

Who: People of all ages

-Write a letter or color a card

-Keep the messages uplifting

-Make the message generic

-Send your cards and letters to one of the following hospital addresses:

This is a great service for all ages.  If you have young children, have them color pictures that the healthcare staff can hang up and enjoy.  If you have older children, have them draw a picture and write in words of gratitude.  If you don’t have children, write a quick note or letter sharing how grateful you are to have such amazing healthcare workers.

February is the month of Valentine’s and love.  Our healthcare workers have been working hard to keep the Riverside community safe and healthy.  They have had to endure long hours and heartbreaking circumstances.

This will be a great service project and will give us the opportunity to shower them with love notes all month long.

We will be doing a service project every month.  Please invite your neighbors and friends to join us.  We can do so much good together.
